Side-Step Jab and Kick
  • Start Position:
    • Front fighting stance.
  • Description:
    • Step to the left followed by a lead jab. Step to the right followed by a lead jab. Follow by two front kick then two side kicks.
  • Sequence:
    1. Step to the left and left jab.
    2. Return to starting position.
    3. Step to the right and right jab.
    4. Return to starting position.
    5. Left Front Kick.
    6. Right Front Kick.
    7. Left Side Kick.
    8. Right Side Kick.
  • Notes:
    • Don't hyper-extend the knees during kicks.
    • Don't hyper-extend the elbows during jabs.
    • Keep kicks no higher than thigh height.
    • Slightly lean back on front kick only enough for balance.
    • Front Kick strikes with the ball of the foot.
