Half Turning Kick
  • Start Position:
    • Fighting stance, right foot back
  • Description:
    • Like a spinning crescent kick only more powerful
  • Sequence:
    1. Start in fighting stance, right foot as back foot
    2. Step across with left foot
    3. Pivot round on right foot
    4. Execute a an outside crescent kick but kick with heel
    5. Kicking with your heel gives more power
    6. Return to fighting stance
  • Targets:
    • Head (if experienced)
    • Ribs
    • Outside of thigh
  • Notes:
    • This is a brilliant kick, takes lots of practice to get it right and to get power into it, but when you do it works in well with loads of combinations.
