NICHOLE L. PFEIFFER JOINS IFA AS EXECUTIVE VICE-PRESIDENT FINANCE

Orlando, FL (August 30, 1998) International Fitness Association today
announced that Nichole L. Pfeiffer has been appointed as the company's
executive vice-president of finance. Ms. Pfeiffer brings to IFA more
than 5 years of software industry experience.

"Nichole's industry knowledge and proven abilities are valuable assets
as we work to strengthen IFA's market position," said Chuck Krautblatt,
president and chief executive officer, IFA. "Nichole's depth of experience,
particularly with fitness and emerging technology growth companies, will
be invaluable as we broaden our ability to deliver products and services
on a global basis. We are delighted that Nichole has agreed to join the
IFA team."

In addition to her role as executive vice-president finance, Ms. Pfeiffer is
responsible for global finance, business development and human resources
functions for IFA. Based in Orlando, Florida, Ms. Pfeiffer previously
served as a senior independent consulant in the software technology sector.
