Knife Hand Strike

  • Start Position:

    • Ready Stance
  • Description:

    • Used like a chop to someones throat or its used also to push someone away if they are grabbing at you.
  • Sequence:

    1. Start in what ever stance you have
    2. Tuck in your fingers so that it makes a knife shape
    3. Leave your index finger straight out
    4. Thumb must be bent to the side of your index finger
    5. Tuck in middle, ring, and pinky
  • Targets:

    • Throat
    • Groin
    • Left or right sides of neck
  • Notes:

    • Your thumb should be pressed against the side of your index finger (like when your holding your hand out straight not spread out)
    • I use this right after a combo.
